It was a busy September for Todd’s Fund! As many of you know, we celebrated 15 years of helping local kids in need. The month was also packed with many fun and exciting events that will help us continue our mission.
Among those events were our 3rd annual Holes for Hope Golf Tournament. Twenty-six dedicated golfers from around the CNY area teed off to play 72 holes in the one-day event. Our goal was to raise $40,000 from local businesses and community members. We are thrilled to announce that we not only reached our goal, but surpassed it! Turnout for the event was fantastic, and we hope to continue the momentum with an even bigger, better tournament next year!
In addition to the golf tourney, we hosted the 15th annual Todd’s Fund Benefit Dinner—which included a silent auction and raffle—on September 10th at the Skaneateles Country Club. This year’s event featured some great new activities, including a photo booth donated by AlterImage Photography, a cigar bar sponsored by Rocky’s Cigars.
Finally, our Angel Sponsor, Vernak Farms, hosted a Wellness Day to benefit Todd’s Fund. This family focused event included educational talks by healthcare providers, goods and services from health- and wellness-related businesses, local musicians, artists and so much more. It truly was a fun-filled day, with activities that included yoga, games, workout opportunities and a 5K run.
